Clarification of your inspiration . . .

Jean Lorscheider-House is an editor based in Wilmington, North Carolina, and serving national and international clienteles. Why work with an editor?

Writing is much more than simply getting those words onto a page. It is a process of planning, drafting, and revision–and it means sharing your work with someone other than yourself! Before your document is ready for the audience, it should be carefully reviewed by an experienced editor who will offer fresh perspectives and catch costly errors. Jean will review and repair syntax, spelling, grammar, punctuation, style, and formatting issues.

  • Are you a publisher with a document and a deadline? Turn it around in time and within budget.
  • Are you a writer with a project you’re eager to see in print? Before you shop it around, have it cleaned up.
  • Are you close to the end of your writing process but need a little help with that last draft? Schedule a two-hour consult & coaching session.

Consult & coaching sessions

  • a two-hour consult & coaching session,
  • follow-up notes, and
  • a sample edit.
